Product Overview

Custom laptop rubber feet can provide adhesive-mounted contact pads beneath a compatible computer housing. Their outline and thickness need to suit the original support locations. Placement should preserve access to the underside features and the clearances intended by the laptop design.

Check the footprint before fitting a replacement. Vents, screws, panel seams, and labels that require access should not be covered unintentionally. The pad thickness also affects how the laptop sits, so compare all support positions rather than replacing a missing foot with an arbitrary raised pad.

Prepare the mounting surface according to the selected adhesive system, removing old residue without damaging the housing finish. Position the foot carefully and follow the attachment conditions intended for that adhesive. Avoid repeatedly lifting and repositioning it during installation. After fitting, check the laptop on a level working surface for rocking and confirm that its normal openings remain clear. Keep grit off the contact face during use, and inspect the adhesive edge if the foot is repeatedly dragged across a desk or carried against other items.

Material options
Custom rubber compound and color, selected for the contact conditions and required geometry.
Hardness range
30–90 Shore A for rubber. Assess the grade against this fit requirement: After fitting, check the laptop on a level working surface for rocking and confirm that its normal openings remain clear.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
