Custom rubber feet for electronics provide a compliant support interface beneath an enclosure. Their height, footprint, attachment geometry and hardness can be developed around the equipment base. Silicone is one material option, with the formulation selected for the conditions at the installed foot.
The gap beneath the housing can serve more than one purpose. Check any underside openings, projecting fasteners or access panels when positioning the feet, and preserve the clearance required by the equipment design. A replacement with a lower installed height may let a hard feature touch the supporting surface even though the rubber still fits its mounting location.
Choose support positions on areas of the enclosure intended to carry contact. A foot placed on a flexible panel can change how the equipment sits when handled. Include nearby heat sources in material selection, using the actual conditions at the foot rather than a general temperature claim. Keep the contact faces clean and inspect the attachment when the unit is moved frequently. Replace feet with the required configuration so the enclosure remains supported at its intended height and locations.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
