Product Overview

An NBR rubber gasket provides a custom compressible interface between mating parts. The flat outline and thickness should match the receiving joint and the available sealing area. A silicone version is a separate material choice that needs its own suitability assessment for the intended process.

Define the actual medium, temperature, contact duration, and cleaning substances before selecting the compound. The same gasket shape can be molded in different materials, but those versions are not automatically interchangeable. The mating faces also need to support the rubber evenly without leaving an unintended gap or overhang.

Install the gasket onto clean surfaces without stretching it to reach fasteners or locating features. Keep it aligned as the joint closes and follow the assembly's intended fastening method. Evaluate the complete seal under its operating conditions. During replacement, inspect the receiving faces for damage or residue and preserve the specified material and full dimensions. A thicker or softer gasket should not be used merely to hide a damaged or uneven seat.

Material options
NBR / Silicone. Custom formulation and color for the intended contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Rubber: 30–90 Shore A. Silicone: 20–80 Shore A. A thicker or softer gasket should not be used merely to hide a damaged or uneven seat.
Custom dimensions
The flat outline and thickness should match the receiving joint and the available sealing area.
Fit & assembly
Keep it aligned as the joint closes and follow the assembly's intended fastening method.
Use & inspection
During replacement, inspect the receiving faces for damage or residue and preserve the specified material and full dimensions.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
