A machine seal ring with a flat custom outline can follow the contact face around a machine opening. Local details such as a locating boss, a narrow land or an interrupted edge matter as much as the overall shape. The gasket should remain supported where the assembly applies compression.
Silicone and NBR are separate material choices, selected according to the medium and service conditions. Custom production can adapt the perimeter and openings to the machine geometry. Include the intended installed thickness and the movement used to bring the mating parts together.
Place the flat seal without pulling a narrow section around an obstruction. Check alignment at the local features before the upper face hides them. If the assembly does not close as intended, inspect for a trapped section rather than increasing fastening force. During service, compare wear at those features with the mating surfaces. A repeated cut at one location may indicate a damaged edge that should be repaired before the new ring is fitted.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
