Develop holes, lips and walls around the mating parts
Match the attachment and installation method
A custom soft silicone cover follows a receiving feature with a compliant molded wall. Plug configurations can be developed for openings that require an inserted body instead. The selected softness should support the intended fitting method while the geometry establishes the final seated position.
Excessive flexibility should not be used to compensate for the wrong dimensions. A thin cover edge can fold inward over an unsuitable shoulder, and a soft plug can deform beneath a head that appears properly placed. Establish the full cavity or body profile and inspect the less visible contact after fitting. Keep working surfaces clean and provide a suitable gripping area for removal. After repeated handling, inspect transitions where strain is concentrated. Replacement should preserve both the profile and selected hardness so the part returns to its intended position without relying on additional stretching or insertion force to overcome a mismatch. Avoid gripping the thin wall at its most flexible transition.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. The selected softness should support the intended fitting method while the geometry establishes the final seated position. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Compare inside diameter A with the outside of the part being covered. Check inside depth C and overall dimensions B and D for available clearance. These RSE references show a round cap with one closed end.
43 closed-end cap sizes. A is the inside diameter and C is the usable internal depth; B and D describe the outside envelope.

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
