Rubber rectangular caps cover a projecting end with a molded cavity matched to its outside profile. Custom silicone tips can be dimensioned for the long and short sides, the engagement depth, and the corner transitions. The internal shape is central to fit, even when the visible exterior is simple.
Align the cap before fitting so the long side is not stretched across the short side of the receiving part. Check for seams, shoulders, or rounded corners beneath the cover that can stop it before it reaches the intended depth. The closed end should meet its designed position without leaving one wall pulled more tightly than the others.
Select material and hardness for the contact environment and the intended handling. If the tip also contacts a supporting surface, assess that working face and its loading separately from the cap's retention. Remove burrs before installation and inspect the inside after removal. A damaged corner can be difficult to see when the cap is installed, so replacement should preserve the exact internal profile rather than only the external dimensions.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
