Rubber equipment feet create defined support points between a device base and the surface beneath it. Custom dimensions allow the foot to fit the mounting area and provide the intended clearance. The rubber contact and the fastening arrangement need to work together under the equipment's actual load.
Check where the base transfers weight into each foot. A mounting area that concentrates force on a narrow edge can deform the rubber differently from a broad supported face. The foot also needs enough clearance from access panels, cables, and other underside features.
After installation, place the equipment in its working configuration and inspect for rocking or movement at the feet. Wear should be assessed under the real surface and handling conditions rather than assumed from the material name. Keep the contact areas clean, and avoid dragging the device if that pulls at the attachments. During maintenance, replace damaged or missing feet with the correct profile and height. The complete equipment needs its own assessment for any required load or vibration performance.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The foot also needs enough clearance from access panels, cables, and other underside features. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
