Product Overview
Large rubber feet can be custom molded as furniture protectors, with dimensions to suit each leg or base. A broader footprint can be selected where the design calls for more contact area, but the mounting surface and load path still need to support the rubber correctly. For a custom order of large feet, identify the furniture mounting area and intended load; size alone does not establish a load rating.
Check the area through which the furniture transfers weight into the foot. The base should not be supported only on a narrow edge while the rest of the rubber remains unused. The installed height and shape also need to match the other feet so the furniture stands evenly.
Fit the foot onto a clean mounting area and inspect the assembly for rocking or movement. Keep the floor-contact surface free of grit, especially on finishes that mark easily. If the furniture is moved, check that the large foot has not rolled or shifted underneath its support. During maintenance, replace torn or permanently distorted rubber with the matching profile and height, and address any uneven loading that contributed to the damage.
