Rubber cutting board feet provide contact beneath the board while the metal mounting portion secures the support. The mounting depth and surrounding board thickness need to work together so the fixing remains contained in the intended region. The foot's height also determines the space available for cleaning around the underside.
Locate the supports where they can carry the board evenly without obstructing its normal handling. Check that the fasteners and rubber contact surfaces remain clear of the countertop except at their intended contact points. The assembled board should be assessed on the actual work surface, including the wet or dry conditions relevant to its use.
Select the rubber and metal arrangement for the cleaning method and exposure involved. Any food contact requirement should be evaluated for the relevant finished component and its intended contact, rather than assumed for every support beneath a board. After washing, inspect around the attachment for retained residue or looseness. Replace a damaged foot before exposed hardware reaches the countertop, and preserve a consistent support height across the board.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. Any food contact requirement should be evaluated for the relevant finished component and its intended contact, rather than assumed for every support beneath a board. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
