A flat suction cup can suit an arrangement where the space between its contact surface and holder is limited. That low-profile layout still needs room for the cup to settle and release without the rigid attachment touching the surface or restricting the flexible body.
Review the holder geometry in both the initial approach and seated positions. A neighboring projection may be clear when the cup is relaxed but approach the surface as it deforms. The connection should keep the intended alignment rather than forcing one edge of the rim down first to make the assembly fit.
Evaluate the complete mounting sequence on the actual surface, with suitable control of the attached item. The flat appearance does not establish a general holding capacity. Leave practical access for the designed release action; an inaccessible edge can encourage removal methods that damage the lip. During inspection, look for hard-contact marks above the cup and repeated distortion near the connection as well as damage to the sealing rim. Those signs can identify a clearance issue that a new cup alone will not resolve.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
