Product Overview

A compression-molded EPDM rubber vibration damper with a screw attachment combines a custom body shape with a defined mounting point. The installation method should preserve that shape so the rubber begins work in its intended position. The screw and receiving hardware need to align before the part is tightened.

Check that the metal connection seats correctly without drawing the rubber sideways. The surrounding bracket should hold the designated area and leave the flexible section clear. If the mount must be twisted to make the thread reach, review the assembly alignment and screw configuration rather than forcing it into place.

EPDM should be selected for the actual contact conditions and local environment. The completed mounting arrangement requires assessment under the intended load and motion. During replacement, compare the installed separation and retaining details as well as the screw size. A different molded body can change the position of the supported component even when the fastening interface matches. Inspect the surrounding clearances again after fitting the new part.

Material options
EPDM compound options, customized alongside the profile and contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Solid rubber options: 30–90 Shore A. The surrounding bracket should hold the designated area and leave the flexible section clear.
Custom geometry
The installation method should preserve that shape so the rubber begins work in its intended position.
Fit evaluation
Inspect the surrounding clearances again after fitting the new part.
Color & OEM
Custom colors; part identification clear of mounting seats and loaded faces.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
