Match the attachment and installation method
Round rubber end caps molded in silicone cover matching circular ends with flexible receiving profiles. The engagement length should follow the available surface, including any nearby shoulder, groove or fitting that limits insertion. A cap can appear to fit the diameter while stopping short of its intended seat.
Check the internal depth and outside clearance around the finished installation. The selected silicone formulation needs to suit the actual exposure, and any sealing requirement should be evaluated with the complete capped joint. A round outline does not establish a particular pressure or environmental rating.
Prepare the receiving surface so burrs or damaged threads do not cut the cap from within. Fit evenly and inspect the rim for folding or an uneven gap. During reuse, look at the inner wall rather than relying only on the visible top surface. Replace caps with cuts or a permanently changed opening, since continued coverage of the end does not prove that the original engagement has been retained.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. The engagement length should follow the available surface, including any nearby shoulder, groove or fitting that limits insertion. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
