Rubber tips for furniture leg applications should match the leg's finished profile, including coatings and any taper near the end. The receiving cavity needs enough depth for the tip to seat while the contact face rests as intended on the floor. A close visible fit does not necessarily show whether the leg has reached the correct position inside.
Custom size, material, hardness and color options allow the tip to follow the chair or furniture design. Check the whole set under representative loading and movement. Different leg angles may require different contact profiles to preserve a stable stance.
Inspect leg ends for sharp edges before fitting and remove particles from the cavities. Keep the soles clear of grit before moving the furniture across a floor. Assess marking and movement on the actual finish where relevant. During maintenance, look for internal punctures, loose tips and uneven wear. If one position repeatedly fails, review the leg geometry and load distribution rather than simply choosing a thicker rubber tip for every leg.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The receiving cavity needs enough depth for the tip to seat while the contact face rests as intended on the floor. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
