Match the attachment and installation method
A small rubber buffer with screw combines a contact body and a threaded mounting feature. The thread should provide the intended engagement while the rubber establishes the correct contact height. Using screw position informally to alter that height can change the attachment condition unless adjustment is part of the developed design.
Custom dimensions, material and color allow the buffer to suit its mechanism. Define the approaching surface, load direction and available deformation space. The surrounding hardware should retain the part without restricting the rubber where it needs to work.
Check the complete assembly through representative movement. Inspect whether contact is centered and whether the buffer reaches its working position before nearby rigid surfaces meet. During maintenance, compare the compression mark with the intended face and look for lasting flattening. A secure screw does not establish that the contact body remains in suitable condition. If the mechanism begins resting at a different position, review buffer deformation and attachment together rather than simply turning the screw farther into its mounting hole.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The thread should provide the intended engagement while the rubber establishes the correct contact height. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a connection type, then compare body dimensions and metric threads. D, H and L are in millimeters; H excludes projecting studs. The M designation identifies the metric thread.
