Custom adhesive silicone rubber rings provide a shaped rubber interface retained on a mounting surface by a selected adhesive. The 3M adhesive grade should suit the base material and service conditions, while the silicone profile matches the intended contact area. Elevated temperature use requires both sides of that material combination to be assessed.
Establish the actual temperature at the bond and rubber, including exposure duration and cycling. The adhesive's behavior should not be inferred from the silicone's temperature capability. Prepare the mounting surface, place the ring without stretching it, and follow the application conditions for the selected adhesive. The supported area beneath the ring should remain continuous where the design requires a bond. If the part also forms a seal or cushioning layer, evaluate that role with the complete assembly and intended compression. During maintenance, inspect for edge lifting or changed shape. Replacement should restore the clean mounting condition and exact adhesive and rubber configuration rather than cover the previous ring's residue.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
