Product Overview

A 58mm suction cup needs a suitable contact area for its flexible lip to settle against the surface. The nominal size identifies this flat cup offering, while the actual sealing footprint and attachment geometry need to suit the intended installation. ETOL can customize dimensions, colors and molded details, with hardness options from 30 to 90 Shore A.

Check the available surface beyond its general appearance. A joint line, scratch, printed ridge or local curve can cross the cup perimeter and interrupt contact. Place the cup where the whole lip has continuous support, and keep the surface clean before fitting. A larger nominal diameter cannot compensate for an unsuitable patch beneath one section of the edge.

Evaluate the complete attachment under its intended force direction and duration. No load capacity follows from the 58 mm label alone. Inspect the fitted cup for an unevenly lifted rim and make sure the connected part does not pull it sideways. During repositioning, release the suction first so the lip is not dragged across the surface under tension. Renew a cup with a damaged sealing edge.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
