Product Overview

An adhesive bumper provides a rubber contact point without a separate screw or push-in retaining feature. The self adhesive attachment depends on the surface beneath it, while the rubber face supplies the intended cushioning or stand-off. Custom size and color can adapt the part to the product's contact layout.

Choose a mounting area that supports the full adhesive footprint. A ridge, textured finish, or curved edge can leave part of the base without useful contact. The surface should be prepared for the selected adhesive system and remain free of residue that interferes with bonding. Position the bumper carefully before applying the intended installation pressure, keeping fingers and debris away from the adhesive face.

The approaching component should load the rubber in the direction planned for the attachment. A sideways sweep can peel an edge differently from direct contact. Evaluate the fitted part under the actual use conditions and follow the setting requirements of the selected adhesive configuration.

During care, inspect the perimeter for lifting as well as the rubber face for wear. Repositioning a used adhesive bumper may change its attachment, so use the appropriate replacement when the original seat has been disturbed. The complete surface and adhesive combination determines retention.

Material options
Custom silicone or rubber formulation, with dimensions and color adapted to the mating component.
Hardness range
Silicone: 20–80 Shore A; rubber: 30–90 Shore A. Assess the grade against this fit requirement: Position the bumper carefully before applying the intended installation pressure, keeping fingers and debris away from the adhesive face.
Custom profile & fit
Custom size and color can adapt the part to the product's contact layout.
Assembly considerations
Repositioning a used adhesive bumper may change its attachment, so use the appropriate replacement when the original seat has been disturbed.
Design check
Evaluate the fitted part under the actual use conditions and follow the setting requirements of the selected adhesive configuration.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
