Rubber bumper feet used near heat need a material and attachment suited to the temperature at their actual position. The contact surface, mounting point and exposed body may experience different conditions, particularly where one side faces a warm enclosure and the other rests on a cooler supporting surface.
Custom molding allows the dimensions, hardness and compound to be developed around that installation. Define the relevant heat exposure and duration before evaluating the foot. Neither a general high-temperature description nor a firm feel establishes a universal operating limit.
Check the fitted feet with the assembly in its intended configuration, including the clearances that keep surrounding hard parts away from the supporting surface. Evaluate grip on the actual finish and inspect the mounting after the required heating cycles. If a foot changes shape or loosens, examine the thermal conditions and attachment method before replacing it. Keep the contact faces clean so debris does not become trapped beneath the item during normal movement.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
