Match the attachment and installation method
Custom molded feet for industrial equipment should be developed around the complete support arrangement. The attachment, height and contact face of each foot influence how the equipment rests. Match the finished material to the intended load and environment while keeping the working geometry consistent with the equipment design.
After replacing one component, inspect the other support positions as well. A new foot with a different height can redistribute contact or leave the equipment rocking. Check the assembly in its operating condition, including any movement that brings surrounding rigid parts close to the support surface.
During maintenance, look for persistent compression, local cuts and displacement at the mounts. Clean the mating region before fitting a replacement. If one foot repeatedly wears differently, review the support surface and equipment alignment before changing its material or thickness. A component that attaches successfully is not necessarily a correct replacement if its working profile changes how the rest of the equipment is supported.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The attachment, height and contact face of each foot influence how the equipment rests. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
