A self-adhesive rubber bumper strip provides a longer contact face than an individual pad. Its shape can follow a straight supporting edge or another defined contact area, provided the substrate is compatible with the backing. Alignment matters because a strip applied under tension may not remain in the same position afterward.
Mark the intended path before exposing the backing. Check whether the mating surface is flat along the full length and whether a moving part approaches parallel to the rubber. The strip should not be expected to bridge a gap that leaves part of its adhesive unsupported.
ETOL can customize the profile, hardness and dimensions. Use the required preparation and application method for the selected backing, placing the strip without pulling it longer to reach a mark. Inspect both ends after normal contact and look for curling or sideways movement. Keep the exposed grip surface free from debris and compatible with the finish it touches. If the contact pattern is concentrated at one end, review alignment before choosing a softer compound.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
