Match the attachment and installation method
A mushroom silicone rubber plug stopper can be developed with a head that provides a compliant contact point while the body locates in an opening. The two regions need coordinated dimensions: the head establishes contact height, and the body provides retention. A tight body fit should not be used to compensate for an unsuitable head profile.
Custom material, size, hardness and color can match the assembly. Define the expected contact direction and the space available for compression. Any anti vibration function should be evaluated with the complete mechanism and its load path.
Check the installed part through representative movement. The head should meet the intended surface without bending sharply at its junction with the body. During maintenance, inspect that junction for tearing and the retaining area for loosening. A head that remains flattened can change the resting position of the contacting component. Review alignment and contact load before fitting another stopper of the same shape, and preserve the developed mounting configuration rather than choosing only by the visible mushroom outline.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. The two regions need coordinated dimensions: the head establishes contact height, and the body provides retention. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
