A round rubber damper provides a circular resilient contact area for a custom support or buffer arrangement. Its diameter defines the available footprint, while the height and body profile determine how it fits between the mating components. The intended contact should remain within that footprint as the assembly moves.
Align the mating face so it does not repeatedly land on the outside edge. A narrow or angled contact can deform the round body unevenly and produce a different response from centered compression. The seat behind the damper should support its working area without leaving a section suspended over a recess.
Select the compound for the actual load conditions and surrounding environment. The black color does not identify its hardness or establish a damping rating. Check the installed assembly for nearby rigid contacts and inspect the rubber after initial use. A crescent-shaped wear mark or leaning body can indicate that the force is entering off center, which should be addressed rather than hidden by additional tightening.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
