Product Overview

A solid plug for medical bottle use can be molded in black BIIR with a profile adapted to the bottle opening. The inserted body and upper seating surface should be dimensioned with the container and its closure hardware. The black exterior identifies an appearance choice; the complete formulation and geometry define the actual component version.

During assembly, inspect the contact areas under suitable lighting. Fine particles or damage may be harder to see on a dark surface, particularly beneath the head. Keep the body protected before insertion and place it straight into the clean opening. Verify the final position after the bottle's retaining arrangement is completed.

Select the BIIR formulation for the intended contents and processing conditions. A solid plug should remain in the form required by the closure design rather than being modified during fitting. If bottle neck dimensions or processing steps change, assess their effect on the stopper configuration. Replacement should preserve the full profile and material assignment, since a similar black head does not show whether the less visible insertion section is equivalent.

Material options
Rubber compound options, customized alongside the profile and contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Solid rubber options: 30–90 Shore A. The inserted body and upper seating surface should be dimensioned with the container and its closure hardware.
Custom geometry
If bottle neck dimensions or processing steps change, assess their effect on the stopper configuration.
Fit evaluation
During assembly, inspect the contact areas under suitable lighting.
Color & OEM
Custom colors; OEM identification positioned outside closure contact surfaces.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
