Product Overview

Black suction cups provide a rubber contact interface for industrial arrangements that use suction to hold against a surface. The cup size, profile and hardness can be customized, with silicone and other compounds selected according to the application. Black identifies the appearance; the required formulation and geometry determine the functional configuration.

Evaluate the surface as it will be encountered during use. A clean sample may differ from a production surface carrying dust, moisture or processing residue. The cup lip needs a continuous contact area, and small features such as a seam or shallow groove can interrupt that area. Position and approach should let the lip seat evenly without first catching one edge.

Include movement in the assessment. Holding against a stationary surface differs from a fixture that changes direction or applies a sideways force. The complete arrangement must establish the necessary holding and release behavior under those conditions. Inspect the lip for nicks and remove contamination with a method suitable for both cup and workpiece. Keep unused cups free from deformation so the contact edge retains its intended shape before installation.

Material options
Custom silicone compound; formulation and geometry developed together.
Hardness selection
Silicone options: 20–80 Shore A. Keep unused cups free from deformation so the contact edge retains its intended shape before installation.
Custom geometry
The cup size, profile and hardness can be customized, with silicone and other compounds selected according to the application.
Fit evaluation
Evaluate the surface as it will be encountered during use.
Color & OEM
Custom colors; OEM markings outside the suction contact face.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
