A rubber suction cup in a gripping system should be positioned with the workpiece's shape and balance in mind. This custom silicone vacuum cup can be developed in dimensions suited to the available contact region and the equipment mounting arrangement. The objective is contact that remains appropriate as the item leaves its support and moves through the handling sequence.
Assess the pickup point relative to the workpiece. A surface may accept the cup but still allow the item to tilt because of the position of its weight or geometry. Where the system uses several cups, check that each reaches its intended surface and that height differences do not leave one contact unloaded or excessively compressed.
The vacuum supply and control need to suit the complete gripping arrangement. Check the movement and release with the actual item rather than inferring performance from cup diameter alone. Keep the lips clean and inspect them for damage during maintenance. If one cup repeatedly shows unusual wear, review its approach angle and position as well as the replacement material; the local contact may be carrying a different part of the handling demand.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
