A Cable grommet forms a flexible interface around wiring and helps define the space at an enclosure opening. For a dust-control arrangement, the fit should avoid unnecessary gaps and remain accessible for removing accumulated particles during maintenance.
Match the passage to the cable configuration and the outer seat to the finished panel. ETOL offers customization of dimensions, material, hardness and color. If the cable moves during operation, inspect whether that movement opens a local gap or rubs the rubber against nearby hardware.
Clean around the flange before opening or dismantling the entry so loose dirt is not drawn into the bore. During reassembly, remove particles from both mating surfaces and let the wire return to its intended position. Evaluate dust exclusion and vibration-related behavior on the complete installed arrangement. Keep the entry clear of a tightly applied cable tie that would change its profile. If the bore becomes worn or the flange no longer rests against the panel, address the routing or movement that caused the change before replacing the component.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. If the bore becomes worn or the flange no longer rests against the panel, address the routing or movement that caused the change before replacing the component. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
