A Cable through rubber grommet cushions the opening where a cable crosses a panel. The custom EPDM entry can be developed around the wall, cable clearance and surrounding space. Its retaining groove should match the finished edge rather than only the raw panel dimensions before coating or assembly.
Inspect the cutout for a raised paint line, local burr or joined layer that changes the wall at the mounting point. Those features can prevent the groove from seating even when the nominal thickness is correct. Smooth the edge appropriately before fitting and leave enough exposed panel area for the flanges. Then route the cable without dragging the rubber out of the groove. If the panel is removed and replaced during service, recheck the entry afterward rather than assuming its previous fit has been preserved. A trapped section or cable pulled into a new angle can expose a portion of the hard edge while the rest of the grommet still appears seated.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The custom EPDM entry can be developed around the wall, cable clearance and surrounding space. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
