A Neoprene cable protection sleeve gathers or covers wiring where the route needs a flexible outer layer. The sleeve can bundle adjacent cables and provide a protective layer where the route approaches an abrasive surface. This construction can be considered where several leads should remain together as they approach a component or pass beside an exposed surface.
Choose the internal space around the bundle in its finished form. A group of loose wires may become substantially different after wrapping, termination or bending. The sleeve should accommodate that arrangement without pushing connectors sideways or producing a tight ridge at its ends.
Select the sleeve for its actual contact environment. Its appearance does not establish an electrical rating.
Plan how the sleeve will be installed before the connectors are attached if the selected construction requires threading over the cable. Once assembled, examine the points where wires emerge. Keep them clear of sharp hardware, and ensure that movement does not cause the sleeve to creep away from the contact area. Renew a split sleeve before its damaged edge begins catching adjacent parts.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The sleeve can bundle adjacent cables and provide a protective layer where the route approaches an abrasive surface. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
