Replacing silicone rubber foot caps for chairs provides an opportunity to inspect the leg ends hidden during use. Check that interface before fitting a new cap.
Remove the old part using the furniture's intended maintenance method. Avoid driving a sharp tool between the cap and a finished leg, where it can create an edge that later cuts the replacement from inside. Clear old fragments and inspect the area that will enter the new socket.
Match the replacement to the prepared leg rather than to a stretched old cap. Include the intended insertion depth and the end shape so the leg reaches the supporting region inside the rubber. The selected material should suit contact with the furniture finish and its cleaning products.
After fitting, inspect the mouth for trapped fragments or a lifted side. Check the chair in its normal position and retain the required support height. If a new cap develops damage at the same hidden location, revisit the leg surface before replacing the rubber again.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The socket depth and internal end shape determine where the chair leg meets its rubber support. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Compare inside diameter A with the outside of the part being covered. Check inside depth C and overall dimensions B and D for available clearance. These RSE references show a round cap with one closed end.
43 closed-end cap sizes. A is the inside diameter and C is the usable internal depth; B and D describe the outside envelope.

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
