A cabinet cable grommet should fit the panel opening while leaving the route and retaining edge accessible for inspection before the cabinet is closed. Shelves, covers and internal fittings can restrict that access, so the entry position and assembly sequence should be considered together.
Develop the molded profile around the finished cabinet panel and cable configuration. Check the thickness at the actual opening, including any local reinforcement or coating, and choose the material for the cabinet's environment. The passage should allow the intended cable route without crowding a neighboring fitting.
Install the grommet and inspect its seating after the cable reaches the designated clips or supports. Complete that check before an internal cover hides the rear flange. During servicing, examine the entry again when cables are added or replaced. Extra wiring can alter the bundle shape, so an opening that previously provided adequate clearance may need a revised entry configuration rather than a forced fit through the existing rubber.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The passage should allow the intended cable route without crowding a neighboring fitting. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
