A Closed blind blanking hole component finishes an unused cable opening with an intact rubber face. It should remain accessible enough for its retained fit to be inspected, particularly when nearby wiring or trim will be added after installation.
ETOL offers custom size, material, hardness and color. Match the mounting profile to the finished panel and allow clearance behind the closed center. Keep any harness branch or loose lead from resting beneath the lip while the component is seated.
Work around the perimeter rather than pushing through the face with a pointed tool. After nearby assembly work, confirm that the blank has not been disturbed or partly pushed into the opening. If the hole later becomes a cable entry, use a suitably designed pass-through rather than making an uncontrolled cut in the closure. During removal, inspect the hidden retaining area for tears and clean the opening before refitting. A complete visible face should be accompanied by a sound seat, not used to conceal a damaged groove underneath.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. If the hole later becomes a cable entry, use a suitably designed pass-through rather than making an uncontrolled cut in the closure. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
