A custom bushing sleeve is formed around an inner and outer interface that must work together in the finished assembly. Compression mold development should therefore begin with the functional sleeve geometry: the bore, outside profile, length, and any shoulder that controls its position. These features determine how the rubber sits between the adjoining parts.
The bore cannot be considered independently of the outside fit. Compression applied at the outer surface can affect the space available inside, so a sleeve that accepts a mating part while loose may behave differently once installed. Review the assembly sequence and the condition in which each dimension matters. The selected compound also belongs in this development process because its deformation contributes to the installed fit.
Color and size can be customized along with the shape. Where the sleeve includes a shoulder or a change in wall thickness, ensure that these transitions can be fitted without folding. A useful evaluation uses the intended mating components and installation method. It should confirm that the sleeve seats at the correct depth and remains free of cuts or displaced edges after assembly.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. Clamping the outside of a bushing can change the space left inside its bore. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
