A silicone rubber buttons keypad brings the visible control faces and their flexible support into a molded component. A conductive version must also place its contact features correctly against the electronic assembly. Custom dimensions and colors help coordinate the exterior layout with the board below.
Treat the front and back as different working surfaces during development. The visible cover needs suitable shape and access for the user's fingers, while the underside needs a clean, aligned switching interface. A change to key height or wall geometry can affect travel even when the printed appearance stays the same.
Check the keypad with the intended panel compression. Its perimeter should be retained without preloading the buttons into their contacts. Operate the full layout after the enclosure is secured and compare any key that behaves differently from its neighbors. During service, handle the component at areas away from the conductive regions. Avoid applying adhesive or an improvised coating beneath a key to alter its response. Correct support spacing and alignment so the molded part can perform its intended movement naturally.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. Operate the full layout after the enclosure is secured and compare any key that behaves differently from its neighbors. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
