Develop holes, lips and walls around the mating parts
Match the attachment and installation method
A silicone rubber plug grommet should be developed around the opening's intended closure and service requirements. The profile needs to remain retained during normal handling while still allowing the designated removal method when inspection or replacement is required.
Select the compound for the operating exposure and any defined project material criteria. A broad eco-friendly description does not establish recycled content or another specific environmental property. Custom geometry, hardness and color can follow the actual mating interface and identification needs.
Evaluate the part with the surrounding assembly in place, checking the clearance below the opening and the grip available above it. A wide visible face should not hide an unsuitable retaining section. During servicing, release the plug using the intended access and inspect the hidden lip for damage. Keep replacement dimensions tied to the opening design rather than copying a distorted old component, so the new part restores the intended fit without enlarging or modifying the panel.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. A wide visible face should not hide an unsuitable retaining section. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
