A flexible silicone rubber seal should locate on its mating component without relying on continuous stretch to remain in position. The flexible outline needs defined support and retention so it can be fitted naturally before the joint closes. A seal pulled tight between locating points may recover later and leave a region displaced from the contact path.
Define the profile, thickness, and opening dimensions around the finished assembly. Select the formulation for the medium, temperature, and cleaning conditions. Keep enough supported sealing width around corners and fixing features to preserve the intended contact.
Fit progressively without drawing one end toward the other under tension. Inspect for buckling or an edge that has escaped its seat as the faces come together. During maintenance, compare the recovered outline with the mating geometry. A repeatedly stretched region may reveal a locating mismatch that should be corrected before another seal is installed, rather than choosing a smaller part to make the initial fit feel more secure.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
