Rectangular rubber seal gaskets provide a custom molded interface around a shaped opening. The length, width, corner radii, and thickness should follow the receiving joint. The corners need the same attention as the straight sections because uneven seating there can interrupt the intended contact.
Check the locating features and fastening arrangement. The gasket should sit without stretching to reach the corners or bunching where the outline changes direction. The mating faces need enough support to apply the intended compression around the whole perimeter.
Select the silicone compound for the actual medium, temperature, and cleaning exposure. Place the gasket cleanly and inspect its position as the joint closes. Avoid trapping an edge near a fastener or using extra tightening to force an unsuitable section into the gap. Evaluate the complete assembly under its operating conditions. During maintenance, inspect the corners and mating faces for damage, then replace the gasket with the full matching outline and thickness rather than choosing only by overall length and width.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
