Custom small rubber black cable grommets cushion wiring at compact openings. Because the retaining lip may be difficult to see once a lead occupies the bore, inspect the seated rubber before the wiring obscures the view.
Select the mounting profile around the finished hole and panel thickness, then compare the passage with the cable covering. ETOL can adapt dimensions, compound, hardness and color. Adequate assembly access is valuable for a small part; forcing a tool into the bore can damage the edge it is intended to protect.
Seat the perimeter progressively and check the far side where accessible. Feed the wire without catching a sharp terminal on the lip. Once the lead is secured, inspect the visible border for lifting or distortion. If a cable is later withdrawn, confirm the grommet has not followed it out of the opening. Keep the empty entry protected until the next lead is installed, and replace a nicked part before the panel is closed around the wiring again.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. If a cable is later withdrawn, confirm the grommet has not followed it out of the opening. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
