Product Overview

A silicone pressure cooker gasket must match the lid and retaining geometry of the intended cooker. Its profile, diameter, and installed compression influence how the lid assembly closes and seals, so a visually similar ring should not be treated as a universal replacement. Select the component for the specific appliance design and its defined operating conditions.

Check how the gasket sits in the retaining channel and how it meets the opposing surface. The part should follow the full circumference without stretching to reach its seat or leaving a section twisted. The silicone formulation and finished gasket also need assessment for the intended food contact, heat, and cleaning exposure.

For maintenance, follow the cooker manufacturer's fitting and replacement instructions. Inspect the gasket for cuts, permanent distortion, and residue that affects seating. Keep the retaining channel clean without damaging its surfaces, and do not alter the ring to make it fit a different lid. A gasket cannot compensate for a damaged lid or an incorrect closing arrangement.

Any assessment of pressure operation must involve the complete cooker, including its closure and safety systems. After replacement, use the checks prescribed for that appliance before normal operation. Preserve the intended gasket specification over the product's service life so a change in hardness or section does not unintentionally change the lid's designed sealing behavior.

Material options
Silicone. Custom formulation and color for the intended contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Silicone: 20–80 Shore A. The part should follow the full circumference without stretching to reach its seat or leaving a section twisted.
Custom dimensions
A silicone pressure cooker gasket must match the lid and retaining geometry of the intended cooker.
Fit & assembly
Keep the retaining channel clean without damaging its surfaces, and do not alter the ring to make it fit a different lid.
Use & inspection
Inspect the gasket for cuts, permanent distortion, and residue that affects seating.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
