A Self adhesive Backed Ring holds its position on a prepared surface while the mating parts are brought together. This can make a ring easier to locate where a loose gasket would move during cover placement. The adhesive locates the rubber, while the finished joint geometry determines how the ring is compressed.
Custom dimensions allow the opening and outer edge to follow the sealing area. Check the intended bonding face for a suitable finish and enough uninterrupted support. If a fastener recess or surface step crosses the ring, address that geometry before assembly rather than relying on the backing to bridge the gap.
For food-contact equipment, assess the silicone formulation, adhesive and their actual exposure within the finished design. A general FDA reference does not establish suitability for every configuration or cleaning process.
Position the ring carefully before pressing it down. Avoid stretching one section to correct alignment, since the ring may then move as it relaxes. Lower the cover without sliding it across the exposed rubber, and inspect for a rolled section before fastening the joint.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The adhesive locates the rubber, while the finished joint geometry determines how the ring is compressed. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
