A flexible silicone rubber gasket can follow a custom sealing outline, including narrow sections that need careful handling during assembly. Flexibility helps the part move into position, but it should reach its seat in its natural dimensions rather than by being stretched to fit. The final profile is defined around the closed joint.
Support a large or delicate outline as it is placed so one side is not hanging under tension. Align corners and locating features before pressing the remaining sections into position. A twisted section may remain hidden until the cover compresses it unevenly.
The selected silicone compound should suit the actual medium, temperature, and cleaning conditions. Keep the contact faces free from debris and avoid using sharp tools to push narrow sections into a channel. When the joint is reopened, lift the gasket without pulling on one thin area. Inspect for tears or persistent distortion before refitting, and check the receiving groove if the same section repeatedly moves out of place during closure.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
