A cable rubber grommet for a warm location should be selected around the temperature at the panel and the routed cable. Custom structure, material, dimensions, hardness, and color can follow the installation. The grommet cushions the cutout edge while its compound needs to suit the full local exposure.
Consider how heat reaches the entry and whether it remains after the equipment stops. Include any fluids or cleaners that may contact the rubber during maintenance. The required formulation should be paired with the panel groove and cable passage dimensions rather than selected independently of fit.
Prepare the opening by removing burrs and loose debris. Seat the retaining profile completely, then route the cable without forcing a sharp bend at the passage. Use the separate cable supports required by the assembly. During inspection, check for displacement and wear where the cable changes direction. Replace with the matching material and geometry if the entry no longer fits correctly, preserving the intended protection around the opening edge.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The required formulation should be paired with the panel groove and cable passage dimensions rather than selected independently of fit. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
