This cable rubber grommet is described for a round 32 mm panel hole. That hole dimension establishes the mounting interface, while the inner passage still needs to suit the cable or tube passing through it. The outside flange must also have adequate room around the opening to lie against the panel.
For an existing panel, measure the finished cutout after painting or other surface treatment. Inspect its circumference for burrs and irregularities before inserting the rubber. A protective part should not be expected to conceal a cutting defect that can damage it from underneath.
The range offers EPDM, silicone, FKM, nitrile, HNBR, neoprene and SBR options, with custom shapes available beyond the round version. Select the material for the surrounding conditions and choose the groove width for the actual panel thickness.
Once installed, pass the cable through without levering its connector against the lip. Check that the rubber remains seated after the cable is placed in its final route. The 32 mm hole size does not establish cable retention or a water seal; those functions require the corresponding design features and evaluation.
