A rubber seal ring for a water-exposed connection should be evaluated in the orientation the finished assembly will use. Water can remain against one region longer than another, and other openings may be positioned differently once the product is turned or installed. The ring is one part of that complete boundary.
Establish the intended contact path around the receiving feature and identify the conditions the assembled joint must withstand. A splash exposure, retained liquid, and another defined service condition should not be treated as interchangeable simply because they all involve water. The custom profile and selected silicone must follow the actual requirement.
Observe the joint before dismantling it if moisture appears. Where water collects externally is not always the point where it first crossed the boundary. Inspect the mating connection and nearby features as well as the rubber. During reassembly, return the ring to its designated seat and assess the same orientation and conditions again. This keeps the evaluation tied to the finished connection rather than an unsupported waterproof claim for the loose part.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
