Selected for the contact, temperature and movement
Define the visible surfaces and intended color
Develop holes, lips and walls around the mating parts
Match the attachment and installation method
Transparent silicone washers can be custom sized for a joint where the edge remains visible after assembly. The clear material can help reveal local folding or trapped contamination during fitting. The inner opening, outside diameter, and thickness still need to match the intended contact surfaces.
Identify the supported area before choosing the washer width. Material extending beyond the mating face may be pushed outward without contributing to the intended interface. The section should receive the compression established by the assembly rather than being squeezed until its visible edge appears flat.
Choose the silicone formulation for the contents and temperature of the joint. During installation, center the washer and check that it stays aligned as the mating parts close. Inspect around the circumference from more than one position if visibility is limited by nearby features. Clean the seat during maintenance and examine the removed washer for cuts or lasting distortion. A clear appearance can assist inspection, but it does not replace the dimensional and material match required for the joint.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The inner opening, outside diameter, and thickness still need to match the intended contact surfaces. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
