An NBR rubber gasket provides a custom compressible interface between mating parts. The flat outline and thickness should match the receiving joint and the available sealing area. A silicone version is a separate material choice that needs its own suitability assessment for the intended process.
Define the actual medium, temperature, contact duration, and cleaning substances before selecting the compound. The same gasket shape can be molded in different materials, but those versions are not automatically interchangeable. The mating faces also need to support the rubber evenly without leaving an unintended gap or overhang.
Install the gasket onto clean surfaces without stretching it to reach fasteners or locating features. Keep it aligned as the joint closes and follow the assembly's intended fastening method. Evaluate the complete seal under its operating conditions. During replacement, inspect the receiving faces for damage or residue and preserve the specified material and full dimensions. A thicker or softer gasket should not be used merely to hide a damaged or uneven seat.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
