A round flat food grade silicone gasket for a jar lid needs a width matched to the lid's sealing land. The ring should cover the intended contact without extending unnecessarily into the opening or beyond its support. Thickness should be selected with the lid's closing movement and available compression.
Custom dimensions, hardness and color allow the seal to match the jar. Choose the silicone formulation for the actual contents, contact temperature and cleaning process. Evaluate the complete lid and jar combination using representative components.
Before closure, place the ring flat and check that it has not been stretched unevenly around the seat. Inspect the perimeter after closing for an edge that has been dragged outward. During cleaning, examine both faces and remove residue from the retaining recess. If one side shows a stronger contact imprint, review lid alignment and support across the ring. A thicker replacement should not be used automatically to overcome uneven closing, since it may increase distortion without correcting the underlying geometry.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
