A soft single button made in silicone needs its material and molded section selected with the mechanism beneath it. The face provides the touch surface, while the flexible support and base determine how the button moves and returns. A soft feel alone does not establish correct assembled operation.
Check the available stroke and resting clearance inside the housing. The button should not hold the mechanism partly operated when the case is closed. Its face also needs enough side room to avoid rubbing during an angled press.
Evaluate the component in the finished enclosure using centered touches, off-center presses, and a longer hold. The base should remain located throughout those actions. During fitting, keep contacting regions clean and avoid trapping the flexible edge under hardware. Select the formulation for the device's intended use and cleaning process. Replace a damaged part with the matching face and base geometry rather than adapting another soft button that changes the travel or rest position.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The face provides the touch surface, while the flexible support and base determine how the button moves and returns. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
