EPDM rubber gaskets should be specified for the actual mating faces and service exposure of their joints. A silicone O-ring option needs a different section and material assessment, even where both appear in the same equipment. Keep the intended format and compound tied to each location rather than choosing by a similar outline.
Define thickness, contact width, openings, and locating features for the gasket. Check the available compression and support around narrow regions. Select the formulation for the medium, temperature, and cleaning process that reach the installed part.
Fit the gasket flat without pulling it to align distant holes. Bring the faces together evenly and inspect for a displaced edge. During maintenance, examine local damage beside the corresponding hardware feature. Correct uneven support or a sharp seat before replacement instead of choosing a thicker gasket to conceal the mismatch, which can alter the closing condition across other sections that were already correctly supported.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The EPDM gasket contact width and locating openings differ from the groove section needed by the silicone O-ring option. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
