A silicone seal for an opening needs its geometry matched to the opening and the feature that closes against it. This custom ring offering includes EPDM material options, with the compound selected for the actual environment. The hole size alone does not define the full sealing arrangement.
Identify whether the ring sits around a fitting, within a groove, or between mating faces. Each arrangement controls the section differently. The inside opening, supported width, and thickness should follow that seat so that the rubber remains in its intended position during closure.
Select the formulation for the contents and temperature, then install the ring on clean surfaces. Check that it has not twisted or caught against the edge of the opening. Bring the mating component into place without dragging the seal sideways. During servicing, inspect the inner edge as well as the broad face for damage. A replacement should reproduce the specified material and section instead of being chosen only because its opening passes over the same feature.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The inside opening, supported width, and thickness should follow that seat so that the rubber remains in its intended position during closure. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
