Small vacuum suction cups need a contact lip that matches the available surface area. At a compact size, a seam or particle can occupy a substantial part of the sealing perimeter. The rim condition and the receiving surface are therefore important even when the item being held appears light.
Check the cup diameter and mounting connection together. The chosen silicone formulation and body profile should suit the intended exposure and movement. If the cup connects to a vacuum circuit, leakage at its fitting can affect retention independently of the contact lip.
Evaluate the complete arrangement under the actual direction of force rather than inferring a carrying capacity from the small cup's appearance. Keep both contact surfaces clean and inspect the lip for cuts before fitting. During removal, use the intended release method to avoid tearing a thin edge. Replace a distorted or damaged cup instead of compensating for poor contact through extra force against a rim that no longer sits continuously on the surface.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
